Without tracking, you find out at hand-back.
Go over your allowance and you'll typically pay 5–15p for every extra mile. Two thousand miles over at 10p is £200. Nobody keeps a mileage diary for three or four years. ODO keeps it for you.
How it works
Know where you'll finish, while you can still change it.
On pace or not
Your allowance becomes a daily, weekly or monthly budget, with alerts at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the year's allowance.
You've used 4,000 of 8,000 mi, 5 months in, so you're about 670 mi ahead of pace.
Where you'll finish
After four weeks of learning your driving, ODO forecasts your final mileage. It only warns about an excess charge when one is more likely than not.
What to ask your lender for
If you're heading over, Plan ahead suggests the yearly allowance to ask for. Changing it partway through is usually far cheaper than paying at the end.
Logs every drive by itself
ODO starts logging when your car connects to CarPlay, Android Auto or your car's Bluetooth. On iPhone, a one-minute Shortcuts setup makes it fully hands-free, even with ODO closed. It only counts the car you choose.
Missed a drive? Type where you started and ended, and ODO finds the distance by road.
Private by design
Your drives stay on your phone.
No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. There are no ODO servers holding your trips. Your drives live on your phone and in your own iCloud or Google backup, and nobody at ODO can see them.
ODO only uses your location during a drive. Your maps never leave your phone.

Questions.
Using ODO
Do I need CarPlay or Android Auto?
No. On Android, ODO can also start from your car's Bluetooth. On iPhone, automatic logging uses CarPlay. Without it, tap Start in the app or on a widget.
What if it misses a drive?
Add it by hand. Type where you started and ended, and ODO finds the distance by road.
Will it count drives in other cars?
No. It only logs the car you picked during setup.
How accurate is the mileage?
ODO measures by GPS and filters out bad readings. Add your dashboard reading now and then to keep the total exact.
Will it drain my battery?
ODO only uses your location while you're driving, and starts and stops with your car's connection.
Where's my data?
On your phone and in your own iCloud or Google backup. There's no account, and nobody at ODO can see your trips.
